Sequence 023 — Chapter 1 DMBOK debrief, error repair and spaced revisit
Stage: Completion / Repair
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual — Chapter 1
When / purpose
Close the Chapter 1 mastery-and-lab cycle by translating what you learned back into DMBOK language and using actual performance misses to determine what needs repair.
What you should learn
- Applied experience must return to the source vocabulary.
- Error Repair is based only on actual misses; do not manufacture a generic error log in advance.
- A chapter that feels complete still needs spaced retrieval later.
- Meridian artifacts created here remain useful evidence and inputs for later chapters.
Do this in order
- Reopen the Chapter 1 mastery hub and the Chapter 1 Meridian applied lab.
- Explain, without copying, how the Meridian work demonstrates the Chapter 1 DMBOK concepts you studied.
- Review your Question Bank, scenario, Teach-Back, and lab misses. Use the 00A error taxonomy and repair rules to separate knowledge gaps from vocabulary confusion, confusion pairs, role/sequence errors, missed qualifiers, misreads, elimination problems, overthinking, timing, or source-lookup failures.
- Create or extend Error Repair only for errors that actually occurred. For each item, record the missed concept, why the miss happened, the corrected rule in your own words, and a new retrieval prompt.
- Perform a short closed-book revisit of the repaired concepts rather than rereading the whole chapter.
- Record which Meridian artifacts should carry forward to future chapters and where they are saved.
Evidence of completion
- A short DMBOK debrief connecting the lab back to Chapter 1 concepts.
- An actual-error repair record for real misses only, or an explicit note that no repair item was generated.
- A spaced-revisit prompt/date or equivalent review cue.
- Carry-forward Meridian artifacts identified.
Stop / boundary
Do not create fake Error Repair content merely to fill Artifact 08. Do not pre-study later chapters to explain Chapter 1 results.
Completion gate
You can explain Chapter 1 and its Meridian application independently, and every remaining weakness has a specific repair action.
