Context: Chapter 8 - Data Integration and Interoperability | Guided Learning
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual
When / purpose
Finish the chapter teaching pass and connect the parts into one mental model.
What you should learn
- Later concepts should connect back to earlier ones.
- Distinctions matter more than isolated definitions.
- Examples should be explainable in plain language and DMBOK terminology.
- Know which questions remain open before exam work.
What to read / study
Complete the 01 Guided Learning Guide - Chapter 8 only after it exists under 00A rules; keep the DMBOK Chapter 8 source open to resolve same-source questions and do not silently add outside frameworks.
Do this in order
- Complete remaining concept clusters.
- Create a one-page mental model connecting major ideas.
- List 3–7 distinctions that could be confused on an exam.
- Answer every teaching question.
- Return to the source for disputed wording.
Meridian application
Identify which part of the chapter most directly supports the planned Meridian mode: Ingest / transform / trace.
Create / save
Chapter mental model + confusion-pair list.
Stop / boundary
Stay inside the current source/skill boundary. Do not pre-learn later chapters or engineering depth.
Completion gate
You can explain the full chapter in a coherent story and identify the main confusion areas.
