Sequence 147 — Guided Learning Guide - first half
Context: Chapter 8 - Data Integration and Interoperability | Guided Learning
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual
When / purpose
Use the source-grounded teaching guide to turn the first half of Chapter 8 into understandable, example-backed knowledge.
What you should learn
- Plain language should come before formal terminology.
- Every teaching question must be answered where it appears.
- Examples should clarify the DMBOK concept, not replace it.
- Unknown or source-ambiguous claims stay marked as such.
What to read / study
The 01 Guided Learning Guide - Chapter 8 must exist before this card is worked; if missing, stop and have it built from the full chapter PDF under 00A rules. Keep the DMBOK Chapter 8 source open for same-source verification; no outside research unless explicitly requested.
Do this in order
- Work the first half one concept cluster at a time.
- Explain every major term in plain language and then in DMBOK terminology.
- Answer embedded questions before moving on.
- Add only genuine confusion to the uncertainty log.
Meridian application
For each major concept, write one sentence explaining how it could affect Meridian without inventing a lab step.
Create / save
Guided-learning notes only for unresolved confusion.
Stop / boundary
Stay inside the current source/skill boundary. Do not pre-learn later chapters or engineering depth.
Completion gate
You can teach the first half without reading the guide line by line.
NEXT → Sequence 148
This card preserves the missing-artifact gate; it does not build the separate Chapter 8 guide.
