Sequence 017 — Battle Cards - comparison and deciding distinctions

Stage: Retrieval / Exam
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual — Chapter 1

When / purpose

Practice choosing between similar Chapter 1 concepts rather than merely recognizing definitions.

What you should learn

  • Know what makes two concepts different.
  • Identify the deciding fact that changes the best answer.
  • Explain why a plausible alternative is weaker under the stated facts.

Do this in order

  1. Open the Chapter 1 Comparison & Battle Cards.
  2. Work each comparison before revealing the explanation.
  3. For every confusion pair, state the deciding distinction in one sentence.
  4. Change one fact in the comparison and decide whether the answer should change.
  5. Record any pair you can define separately but still cannot reliably discriminate.

Evidence of completion

  • Battle Card set worked actively rather than only read.
  • Deciding distinctions are stated in your own words.
  • Persistent confusion pairs are recorded for later error repair.

Completion gate

You can distinguish the major confusion pairs under changed facts.
