Sequence 017 — Battle Cards - comparison and deciding distinctions
Stage: Retrieval / Exam
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual — Chapter 1
When / purpose
Practice choosing between similar Chapter 1 concepts rather than merely recognizing definitions.
What you should learn
- Know what makes two concepts different.
- Identify the deciding fact that changes the best answer.
- Explain why a plausible alternative is weaker under the stated facts.
Do this in order
- Open the Chapter 1 Comparison & Battle Cards.
- Work each comparison before revealing the explanation.
- For every confusion pair, state the deciding distinction in one sentence.
- Change one fact in the comparison and decide whether the answer should change.
- Record any pair you can define separately but still cannot reliably discriminate.
Evidence of completion
- Battle Card set worked actively rather than only read.
- Deciding distinctions are stated in your own words.
- Persistent confusion pairs are recorded for later error repair.
Completion gate
