Sequence 016 — Visual Atlas and recognition cues
Stage: Retrieval / Exam
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual — Chapter 1
When / purpose
Build fast recognition patterns for Chapter 1 without turning visuals into unsupported rules.
What you should learn
- Use diagrams as memory compression.
- Treat a visual as a cue to reconstruct relationships, not as a substitute for understanding.
- Connect visual patterns back to the DMBOK concepts they represent.
Do this in order
- Open the Chapter 1 Visual Memory Map & Framework Atlas.
- Study each major visual for the relationship it is meant to compress.
- Hide the source and redraw or verbally reconstruct the main visual structures from memory.
- Explain what each element means and why the elements are connected.
- Check the reconstruction and repair anything you omitted, reversed, or could not explain.
Evidence of completion
- Main Chapter 1 visuals have been reviewed.
- At least one reconstruction from memory has been completed.
- Missed visual relationships are recorded for another pass.
Completion gate
You can reconstruct and explain the main visual(s) without looking.
