Sequence 160 — Guided Learning Guide - first half
Context: Chapter 9 - Document and Content Management | Guided Learning
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual
When / purpose
Use the source-grounded teaching guide to turn the first half of Chapter 9 into understandable, example-backed knowledge.
What you should learn
- Plain language should come before formal terminology.
- Every teaching question must be answered where it appears.
- Examples should clarify the DMBOK concept, not replace it.
- Unknown or source-ambiguous claims stay marked as such.
What to read / study
- MUST: 01 Guided Learning Guide - Chapter 9 — must exist before this card is worked; if missing, stop and have it built from the full chapter PDF under 00A rules. Work only the first half / first major concept clusters. Do not jump to the question bank yet.
- MUST: DMBOK Chapter 9 source PDF — keep open for same-source verification. No outside research unless explicitly requested.
Do this in order
- Open the Guided Learning Guide and source side by side.
- Work the first half one concept cluster at a time.
- For every major term, explain it aloud in plain language and then use the DMBOK term.
- Answer embedded questions before moving on.
- Add only genuine confusion to your uncertainty log.
Meridian application
For each major concept, write one sentence explaining how it could affect Meridian without inventing a lab step.
Create / save
Guided-learning notes only for unresolved confusion.
Stop / boundary
If the required guide is missing, stop at this learner gate. The 00C migration does not create it. Otherwise stay inside the current source/skill boundary.
Completion gate
You can teach the first half without reading the guide line by line.
