Sequence 066 — Governance artifact assembly - charter, RACI and issue workflow

Stage: Applied Lab Deepening
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual — Chapter 3

When / purpose

Integrate the Chapter 3 governance artifacts into one coherent operating model rather than separate templates.

What you should learn

  • Decision rights must align with roles.
  • Issue escalation should connect to accountability.
  • Policies/standards are not the same as processes or tools.
  • Measures should show whether governance is operating.

What to read / study

Priority Resource Open Use now Stop point
MUST Chapter 3 applied lab folder OPEN Use the source-grounded Chapter 3 lab when built. Do not invent DAMA roles before source-checking.

Do this in order

  1. Lay the charter, RACI, issue workflow and policy/standard artifacts side by side.
  2. Trace one Meridian definition dispute through the operating model.
  3. Identify any role conflict or missing decision authority.
  4. Revise artifacts until the path from issue → decision → accountability → evidence is coherent.

Meridian application

Resolve the Sales-versus-Finance definition dispute defined by the curriculum map.

Create / save

Integrated governance operating-model packet.

Stop / boundary

Stay inside the current source/skill boundary. Do not pre-learn later chapters or engineering depth.

Completion gate

A stakeholder can follow one governance issue from detection through decision and evidence without contradictory ownership.

Operationalized from the verified canonical 00C Master Execution Manual; not a verbatim transcription. Migration of this execution card does not create the separate Chapter 3 mastery or applied-lab artifacts named by the card.
