Sequence 013 — Guided Learning Guide - first half
Stage: Guided Learning
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual — Chapter 1
When / purpose
Use the source-grounded teaching guide to turn the first half of Chapter 1 into understandable, example-backed knowledge.
What you should learn
- Plain-language understanding should come before formal terminology.
- Examples should clarify DMBOK meaning, not replace it.
- Relationships between ideas matter more than memorizing disconnected definitions.
Do this in order
- Open the Chapter 1 Guided Learning Guide.
- Work through the first half only; follow its explanations and examples alongside the source concepts you marked in Sequence 012.
- After each major concept, explain it in your own words before continuing.
- Write down any concept you can repeat but cannot yet explain with an example.
- Revisit the controlling source whenever the guide and your memory seem to conflict.
Evidence of completion
- First half of the Guided Learning Guide completed.
- Notes contain plain-language explanations and examples, not copied definitions alone.
- Remaining confusion points are explicitly marked.
Completion gate
You can teach the first half of Chapter 1 without reading the guide line by line.
