Compression Teach-Back & Repair

5-minute teach-back

Teach Chapter 9 without notes using these anchors:

  1. lifecycle of unstructured information;
  2. Content / Document / Record + GARP;
  3. Metadata, content models and controlled vocabularies;
  4. document control + retention/disposition/legal hold;
  5. EDRM;
  6. IA/search + Precision/Recall;
  7. DMS/Records/CMS/ECM;
  8. governance, culture and metrics.

2-minute teach-back

Explain only the highest-risk exam distinctions and the EDRM sequence. You should be able to explain why each neighboring concept is wrong for a changed fact.

30-second compression

Chapter 9 makes unstructured information governed, findable, defensible and disposable at the right time. Capture it with context, classify/control it, preserve records/evidence appropriately, search and deliver it reliably, and govern the lifecycle rather than merely buying a repository.

Chapter 9 scoring protocol

Unlike Chapters 7–8, the current Chapter 9 Drive artifact uses a 0–3 score:

  • 0 = blank or wrong;
  • 1 = partial;
  • 2 = correct with the deciding clue;
  • 3 = can distinguish changed facts and switch to the neighboring concept correctly.

Repair rule

Only actual 0–1 items become Artifact 08 candidates after real study. Repeated slow 2s may also deserve targeted speed work, but do not fabricate error patterns in advance.

Retest

Retest weak items after 24–72 hours, without rereading first. Improvement counts only when retrieval survives the delay.
