Use this section when creating, updating, or quality-checking chapter study materials. 00A-01 remains the governing policy/source-fidelity specification. This guide turns those rules into working prompts.
How to use this guide
Do not improvise a chapter-build prompt from memory. When the user deliberately starts a chapter, open that target chapter folder, confirm the controlling DMBOK source PDF, then choose the appropriate path below.
- NEW CHAPTER BUILD — use when the chapter folder contains only the source PDF or does not yet have a complete study package.
- EXISTING CHAPTER AUDIT / UPDATE — use when study artifacts already exist and need to be brought into alignment with current standards.
Always build from the chapter source first. Outside sources may clarify only when explicitly requested; they must not silently replace DAMA terminology, scope, roles, processes, or conclusions.
Current chapter-build boundary
- Chapter 1 — Data Management: prototype package complete through artifacts 01–07. Artifact 08 remains deferred until real learner mistakes exist.
- Chapters 2–17: USER-DEFERRED. Source PDFs and working hubs may exist, but none is the current automatic “next build.” Start a later chapter only when the user deliberately requests it.
- The Future Start Handoff — Chapter 2 is retained for later convenience but is dormant, not an active restart instruction.
Standard chapter output architecture
- 01 — Guided Learning Guide
- 02 — Exam Map and High-Yield Targets
- 03 — Visual Memory Map / Framework Atlas
- 04 — Comparison and Battle Cards
- 05 — Scenario Lab
- 06 — Chapter Question Bank
- 07 — Teach-Back and Blank-Page Recall
- 08 — Chapter Review and Error Repair — only after real learner performance produces meaningful errors or weak patterns
Not every chapter needs every artifact at identical depth. Follow the chapter-specific media plan and exam importance. Avoid filler files.
Builder workflow — only after a chapter is deliberately activated
- Read the entire controlling DMBOK chapter.
- Build an internal chapter blueprint.
- Map chapter weight and specialist relevance.
- Build the Guided Learning Guide first.
- Run source QC.
- Build only additional artifacts that add a distinct learning function.
- Resolve every learner-facing question appropriately.
- Create Google-native and PDF companions where required.
- Run final content/visual/PDF QC.
- Evaluate Meridian applied-lab handoff.

Authority rule
If 00A-01 and this guide ever conflict, repair this guide to match the current 00A-01 rule before building more chapter materials.
