Sequence 235 — Meridian applied lab - execute, vary and prove
Context: Chapter 13 - Data Quality Management | Applied Lab
Source: CDMP Master Execution Manual
When / purpose
Perform the Chapter 13 work independently enough that the output is evidence of understanding rather than tutorial completion.
What you should learn
- Follow the business problem, not a click path.
- Explain every technology action affecting the result.
- Vary or break one fact when called for.
- Preserve before/after evidence and reasoning.
What to read / study
- MUST: Chapter 13 Applied Lab guide — use once available; do not substitute a generic web lab.
- MUST: Meridian evidence area — save evidence/journal entries; no real sensitive data.
Do this in order
- Perform the lab in prescribed order.
- Annotate decisions and assumptions.
- Explain supplied scripts/templates before running and change a learning-critical part yourself.
- Capture required evidence.
- Rebuild/repeat the critical portion without step-by-step prompting.
Meridian application
Expected outputs: DQ rulebook; profiling results; issue log; remediation SQL/Python; scorecard.
Create / save
Expected outputs + evidence + independent reconstruction proof.
Completion gate
You can reproduce the critical result and explain how it demonstrates Chapter 13.
