When / purpose
Prove independent single-table SQL before moving to joins.
What you should learn
- Translate business questions into single-table queries.
- Identify expected grain.
- Explain NULL behavior.
- Validate row counts.

Do this in order
- Answer 10 unseen single-table questions.
- Write expected grain before each query.
- Run and explain results.
- Repair any wrong filters without copying a solution.

T1 readiness results.
Stop / boundary
Stop at governance/data-management working depth; do not expand into DBA or engineering specialization.
Completion gate
At least 8/10 are correct for the right reason and you can repair the rest.
